Lumen Daily ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the Lumen Daily app collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Lumen Daily is designed to minimize data collection. The following is stored on your device and, when iCloud is available for the same Apple account, may be backed up through Apple's iCloud key-value storage so it can restore after reinstalling or changing devices:

Your profile preferences (name, focus areas, theme)
Your journal entries and mood check-ins
Saved affirmations and generated content
Achievement and streak progress
Reminder schedules
Lifetime unlock status

We do not operate a server for this content and do not have access to your journal, moods, saved affirmations, or iCloud backup contents.

2. Information handled by Apple

If you purchase a subscription (Lumen Pro), the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive only the subscription entitlement status required to unlock Pro features on your device. We do not receive your Apple ID, credit card number, or billing address. Apple's own Privacy Policy governs the handling of your purchase and iCloud backup.

3. Diagnostics

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iOS Settings, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance data with us. This data contains no personally identifying information. You can disable this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

4. Third-party services

Lumen Daily does not include third-party advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or social-media tracking SDKs. The app uses Apple frameworks for purchases, reminders, iCloud backup, and video export.

Lumen Daily uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlement status. When you use subscription features, RevenueCat may process purchase and entitlement information needed to provide those features. Lumen Daily also requests random downloadable background music for share videos from a music API; no journal text, mood history, saved affirmations, or profile details are sent with that request.

5. Children

Lumen Daily is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your rights

Because all personal content you create in Lumen Daily stays on your device, you are in control. You can:

Delete individual journal entries or saved affirmations from within the app.
Delete the app to remove on-device data from that device.
Manage iCloud availability from your Apple ID/iCloud settings.
Cancel or manage your subscription in Apple ID Settings.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be surfaced inside the app.
